The main problem of existing energy-saving smart Windows (electrochromic and thermochromic) to high price, and as a result in a long payback period. The high cost of smart Windows today restricts their use. At a cost to consumer 650$ the market is narrowed down to the luxury segment.
Our solution — is a smart window, where controlling the amount of passing heat energy and light transmission of window by using the change of shape of the scattering surface on the surface of the film. Our proposed method of manufacturing smart Windows differs a low price (10-12 $/m2), it has all the functions and properties of electrochromic smart glass. And it greatly expands their application. According to research by the smart glasses allow:
•reduce lighting costs by 51% (due to the increase in glass area);
•reduce air conditioning costs up to 49%;
•reduce peak loads in the network to 16%.
