The draft UAV — heliplane with hybrid drive.
Existing drones vertical takeoff and landing as power source using batteries that are ineffective, including in the conditions of negative temperatures of the environment.
The drones, built by the "airplane" scheme, use a parachute when landing, thus reveal the location of the settlement or need vzletno runways.
The drones, built by "helicopter" scheme have low fuel efficiency, and accordingly a very limited range.
The aim was to develop unmanned vertical takeoff and landing for use in various climatic conditions, including Arctic conditions, meets the stringent requirements of use, relatively simple and cheap, using internal combustion engines with significant drone payload and needs no airfield (catapult, parachute) for takeoff and landing.
The selected scheme of the convertiplane allows you to create a vehicle with all the advantages of a helicopter, surpassing it at times in speed, range and fuel efficiency. We found an original replacement super-expensive stabilization system well-known American tiltrotor OSPREY and applied to unmanned aircraft.
Currently, only 2 companies have existing prototypes of drones-convertiplane for internal combustion engines: Unmanned TR918 Eagle Eye tilt-rotor osprey from Bell Helicopter company and the Korean development TR-6X Both the submitted sample has an effective system of stabilization.
The essence of our design is the distribution of functions between electric motors and internal combustion engines. The first responsible for the stabilization of system (tested on quadratech), the second lifting force.

The design is patented (patent No. 142287) and received a gold medal at the exhibition in Geneva (Switzerland) in 2014. The apparatus relates to dual-use objects. With a planned payload capacity of 30-60 pounds he is able not only to find people in trouble people, but also to deliver them the primary means of rescue and life support, communications and a beacon for the rapid detection of the main forces of salvation.
The specified load capacity allows you to place significant drone armament and bomb load for the application of high-precision and fast (since the target) attacks on enemy targets. The maximum speed will be commensurate with the speed of combat helicopters that will effectively destroy the last small arms in circumvention of the existing systems of protection from heat-seeking missiles.
Landing on the helipad of the ship will not be difficult. At the moment development needs development work. It should be noted that in the US some estimates on a similar project took more than $ 500 million. While South Korea, thanks to a "borrowed" US technology, spent 5 years and 108 million dollars.
At the moment the development has 2 patents. In preparation of the application for the invention is the adaptive chassis of the aircraft, allowing for a landing on a unprepared or unstable ground.
