The business idea of recycling energy saving lamps

The aim of this project is the opening in Norilsk enterprises for recycling of fluorescent lamps and mercury-containing wastes. Currently on the territory of Norilsk Industrial Area there is only one organization of this type is JSC Severovostokelektromontazh involved in recycling of mercury-containing lamps: a new generation

energy-saving, and those are the people called day. Enterprise rent NPR here to 500 thousand lamps per year. And every year in a special container from the city is transported 16-18 kg of mercury.

In the absence of competition (which affects prices) and the limited reception capabilities of the lamps by the same company, there is a situation of improper disposal of fluorescent lamps, which adversely affects ecological safety of the environment of the city. The opening of a second plant for the processing of lamps in Norilsk will help to solve this problem, to impose competition, the current company and lower the cost of recycling lamps, which in turn will affect the increase in processing volumes.
