Agar is our wealth: we need another plant.

Prior to the closure of agarwood plant in Vladivostok, was built and released great Vladimir agar agar plant (VAZ) in p. Fun Yar (Olginsky district) and agarwood workshop in n. South Sea (b. Gaydamak, hall. East). These businesses are far beyond the habitats of anhelli, and to procure the raw material in the Bay in the Khasan district was regularly organized by seasonal crews.

Currently agarwood industry of Primorye is in decline. Several small private enterprises (to O. Popov, p. Razdolnoye, etc.) with little support from the local authorities, today occasionally produce a small number of products.

Currently in b. Transportation and to the North of it, according to FGUP TINRO Center, about 6-8 thousand tons of angelli in the sea, and up to 1 thousand tons on the shore and in shallow water in the area of prevarrow. Currently, a kilogram of the usual food agar (GOST-16280-2002) sold for 2 thousand rubles. Therefore, this plant can produce agar in the amount of up to 300-500 million rubles!
