The main reason for the destruction of asphalt pavement almost everywhere in Russia — used binders on the physico-mechanical characteristics do not satisfy the conditions (climate and increased mechanical) in most regions of Russia and the world.
The versatility of the new binder is that it fully meets the climatic and mechanical conditions of any region of the Russian Federation and the world! The technology of obtaining a new binder based on a synergistic effect with simultaneous thermal (not exceeding 180 deg.) and special ultrasonic effect on the mixture of bitumen with rubber crumb of tyre wastes. However, no additional components are required. Specified synergistic effect, it causes destruction and devulcanization rubber and the resulting rubber polymer modified bitumen, giving a very high physical and mechanical properties.
The development is based on two patents of the Russian Federation for inventions 2013 and 2015 Conducted laboratory, pilot, and pilot testing of getting a new binder. The pilot received batch of new binder and they are on two different standard asphalt plants PrimaMedia was made an experimental batch of asphalt concrete that were laid on sections of existing roads in 2016 and 2018. New asphalt has proved to be much more resistant to operating conditions in Primorsky Krai than the traditional one. The experiments showed that the most optimal to produce a new binder in granular form.
Thus, on the agenda is the question of constructing an industrial plant with the necessary infrastructure required at this stage, the volume of binder for road maintenance (yet!).
Developed by airtight design of an industrial plant, providing for the withdrawal and use of gases (mainly sulfur dioxide) for an additional receive materials.
Technological monitoring is carried out by measuring rotometrics viscosity of the obtained composition, and optional sulfur concentration in effluent gases.
